RT1’s central objective is to go beyond existing knowledge contributing to answer the question whether the fast burning Eurozone crisis strengthened or weakened European institutions.
The policy focus on RT1 is monetary policy and economic regulation.
Transversal questions to be discussed in light of the impact of recent crises include: (1) Debates surrounding institutional frames explaining evolutions in economic regulation; (2) Different modes of governance shaping economic regulation; and (3) Shifting roles and prospects of central banks in economic governance.
